Republican Primary Prediction Revisions

It is now a week from the Arizona and Michigan primary and things are heating up.  Mitt Romney's SuperPAC, Restore Our Future, continues to spend on negative advertising in Michigan.  Rich casino dude, Sheldon Adelson, donated another $10 million to Newt Gingrich's SuperPAC.  My boy, Rick Santorum, is opening his mouth and weird stuff is coming out.  His main donor, Foster Friess, is also saying very bizarre things; he says it is joke but I'm skeptical (decide for yourself here).  However, Santorum's SuperPAC, The Red, White, and Blue fund got a $1 million donation from some rich Louisiana dude.  I'm sure these dudes don't know that like 98% of American women use birth control.  It is looking more and more like Michelle Duggar is the model woman for the GOP.

Romney is making his most definite stand in these upcoming contests, Mitt Romney started January with $19.9 million on hand and ended it with $7.7 million in the bank, as expenditures were nearly triple the amount the campaign was able to raise.  The pro-Romney super-PAC, Restore Our Future, which by law cannot coordinate with the campaign, also announced its January fundraising figures on Monday, taking in nearly $7 million while spending twice that amount.  He is spending money as if there was no tomorrow.

In light of these recent developments and recent polling data, I've decided to make the following changes to my predictions from this earlier post.

Michigan: My Prediction: Santorum Romney
Romney has the momentum in recent polls and this state seems to following the pattern of Florida.  As stated earlier, Romney is spending a ton of money on this state and he's in it to win it.  Romney has more an ability to impose his will on this election than Santorum.

Georgia: My Prediction: Santorum Gingrich
In related news, Gingrich seems to be betting the house on his home state, much like Romney.  He recently received a bunch of money to compete in Georgia and is pretty much spending every day there.  In unrelated news, Gingrich's third and current wife is 23 years younger than him, that's like me being married to a 1 year old.

In other Republican related news:
As many of you may know, I've often flirted with going from the Democrats to the Republicans but stuff like this just keeps coming out.  I mean WTF?????  I thought they just did community service and sold delicious cookies.
